Golf. It’s an individual sport where scores are added up to determine team success.
At St. John Paul II, the golf squad is made up of unique individuals who have contributed to a successful playoff-bound group.
“We’re a mix of experience and some youth,” said coach Geoff Converse, whose squad has qualified for the state tournament nine of his past 10 years with the team. “We’ve got a great group of kids who have distinguished themselves in a lot of ways.”
