No. While St. John Paul II High School is proudly Catholic, our education is open to any young person who wants a high-quality, college-preparatory education and wishes to know God better in his/her life.

St. John Paul II High School, St. Francis Xavier Preparatory School & St. Margaret Primary School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

  • Fall: Cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, volleyball, girls field hockey (2020)
  • Winter: Boys basketball, girls basketball, cheerleading, girls ice hockey, boys ice hockey, swimming
  • Spring: Baseball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, sailing, softball, boys tennis, girls tennis

Yes, it is possible to transfer into grades 9, 10, and 11. Call or email the Admissions Office for additional information.

Required, core classes will have 15-24 students. Elective and upper-level courses will have smaller class sizes.

JPII students are required to wear a school uniform.  Visit Donnelly’s School Apparel for purchasing information.  Complete guidelines are provided in the Student Handbook.
