No. While St. John Paul II High School is proudly Catholic, our education is open to any young person who wants a high-quality, college-preparatory education and wishes to know God better in his/her life.

St. John Paul II High School and St. Francis Xavier Preparatory School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

  • Fall: Cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, volleyball, girls field hockey
  • Winter: Boys basketball, girls basketball, cheerleading, girls ice hockey, boys ice hockey, swimming
  • Spring: Baseball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, sailing, softball, boys tennis, girls tennis

Yes, it is possible to transfer into grades 9, 10, and 11. Call or email the Admissions Office to begin the process.

Required, core classes normally consist of 15-24 students enrolled. Elective and upper-level courses have smaller class sizes.

JPII students are required to wear a school uniform.  Complete guidelines are provided in the Student Handbook.  Visit Donnelly’s  or the JPII school store for purchasing information.
